Pakistan's coronavirus cases rise to 29,465; death toll at 639

Pakistan’s coronavirus tally crossed 29,000 on Sunday after 1,991 new patients were diagnosed in the last 24 hours, the health ministry said on Sunday as the country began easing the month-long lockdown imposed to curb the spread of the deadly disease. The Ministry of National Health Services said that 21 new deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of fatalities to 639. So far, 8,023 people have recovered from the deadly virus, the ministry said. Out of the total 29,465 virus patients in the country, Punjab has reported 11,093 cases, Sindh 10,771, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 4,509, Balochistan 1,935, Islamabad 641, Gilgit-Baltistan 430 and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir 86.
